Eastern Synod, in essence, embraces East Anglia.
It covers all of Suffolk, most of Essex and Cambridgeshire plus virtually all of Norfolk and small parts of Hertfordshire.

The Synod was restructured in 2008 with the cessation of Districts and the creation of Area Partnerships. The Area Partnerships are listed below along with the contact details (to follow) for the Area Partnership Pastoral Advocates.

The work of the Synod is the responsibility of three main committees, as below, plus an Executive Committee.
