In 2011 we will hold events in Norfolk and Essex.

Whilst all are welcome at the four days we hope by making them more local to the churches in the county you will all feel able to attend. The roadshow will have some base elements that will be the same such as resources to take away (I know these were much appreciated in May), a bookstall and information and input on matters that affect all rural areas. We also want to try and address the big issues for Rural churches in your area. For instance in Norfolk it may be migrant workers or in Essex perhaps it is people moving in to villages who work away all week. If needed we will arrange for a specialist speaker to attend in order that your questions can be answered so that we can try and make our mission and witness as effective as possible and to reach those that currently we are not able to do.

However this part of the day needs the agenda to be set by you and so I invite you to talk about this at your church and then let me know either by email eastern.tdo@urc.org.uk or a phone call to the Synod Office 01223 830770 what you feel are the big issues for your area.

The sooner we hear from you the more likely we are to be able to get high quality speakers along to the events. Even I get booked up 2 years ahead so you can see why I say that. More information and publicity will come out nearer the time
