Penelope Davies-Brown, Resources Officer: all property matters should now be referred to Penelope at the Synod Office. Penelope will then coordinate the Synod Officers’ response and either deal with these matters herself, or direct them to one of the three Field Property Officers for action. This will ensure the most suitable level of support is available to local churches in respect of their buildings.

Gordon  urges churches to ensure that contact is made with the Resources Officer in the early stages of planning any building alterations, tenancies and leases.

Field Property Officers

Our three Field Property Officers support the Resources Team through their wealth of experience of both church and property matters. This way of working offers an increased level of support to local churches in respect of their buildings.

Property Generally

Church Buildings are, for many people, the outward face of the Church. This gives a great opportunity to present a good image. Well maintained and tidy buildings are therefore to be encouraged.
