Youth and children’s work in the Synod is evident in diverse forms, various sizes and different days and times. It is by no means done in the same way.

What resource, time, day and method that suit one church and their youth and children’s workers does not suit another.

The Children’s & Youth Development Officer is here to help promote, support, encourage and develop existing work with children and young people.  

• Explore new ways of engaging with children and young people - this might be where there is existing work or where there is none.
• We are able to provide an extensive menu of support and learning for the church, ministers, elders, youth and children’s workers and any others in the pursuance of  ministry with children and young people.
