What is Vision2020

vision2020Vision2020 is a plan for growth.  It is a framework to inspire and support mission planning at every level of the United Reformed Church: local, Synod and Assembly.  Vision2020 was adopted by General Assembly in 2010 and is currently under review.
Where did vision2020 come from?
In 2007, General Assembly decided to restructure its work into three main areas (Mission, Ministry and Administration) and formed a new Mission Committee.  The Mission Committee together with the Mission Team at Church House were asked to develop a 10-year strategic plan for the mission work of the URC.  This became vision2020.
